Spell Check¶

Nobody likes to find spelling mistakes, particularly not on your own website. Unfortunately it is difficult to maintain changing web content. Our tool will help identifying spelling mistakes. Key to remember is that not all words are in our dictionary and therefore correctly spelled words may occur in the list of spelling mistakes.

We have four different views of spelling mistakes:

• Content: This view shows all spelling mistakes that occurred grouped by individual pages.
• Attributes: Attribute values are generally not spell checked so our tool is probably the only tool that spell checks attribute values such as alt, title, etc.
• Distinct Content: The last two views are more suited to quickly check on spelling mistakes across the entire page. Clicking on the green Pages button shows a listing of all individual web pages where the spelling mistake occurs.
• Distinct Attributes: This shows a distinct list of all spelling mistakes linked to attribute values.
