This insight relates to grammatical analysis of the text content of web pages. We display results in the following areas:
- Most Common Nouns
- Most Common Verbs
- Most Common Adverbs
- Most Common Adjectives
- Noun Phrases: A noun phrase or nominal phrase (abbreviated NP) is a phrase which has a noun (or indefinite pronoun) as its head word, or which performs the same grammatical function as such a phrase. Noun phrases are very common cross-linguistically, and they may be the most frequently occurring phrase type.
- Most Common Words
- Most Common 2-Grams: An n-gram is a contiguous sequence of n items from a given sequence of text or speech. In this case it looks at 2 word combinations.
- Most Common 3-Grams: an n-gram is a contiguous sequence of n items from a given sequence of text or speech. In this case it looks at 3 word combinations.
The number in brackets is the frequency of the word or word sequence occurrence.
Word Clouds can be produced for each of these tests giving a better overview of the distribution across the entire website.
